I consider this drawing to be a milestone. Whereas the previous few exhibited more obvious growing pains after my move to digital sketching, this one feels much closer to what I was doing on paper. Notably, this drawing was also the first to take advantage of the CorelDRAW 7 software suite; specifically PHOTO-PAINT 7. It was responsible for the noise and lens flare filters. During this time, I was playing The Sims (2000). It was its On Holiday expansion pack which inspired the background.
