I consider this drawing to be a milestone. Whereas the previous few exhibited more obvious growing pains after my move to digital sketching, this one feels much closer to what I was doing on paper. Notably, this drawing was also the first to take advantage of the CorelDRAW 7 software suite; specifically PHOTO-PAINT 7. It was responsible for the noise and lens flare filters. During this time, I was playing The Sims (2000). It was its On Holiday expansion pack which inspired the background and spawned several alternative versions, two of which are displayed here. They include swimwear and nude.
